My Pretty Brella

When I was a little girl, my sister had recieved a blue capped conure for her birthday.

I fell in love with the bird, and wanted one of my own, however, my parents would not allow another. When my sister moved out, there was a void where the bird had been. Finally, when I turned 16, I begged my mother to take me to the pet store. She took me, and there in the corner of the little shop sat an umbrella cockatoo, and a small green sighn said, “for sale”. My heart was taken. From the moment I saw her, we had our own special bond. She cuddled and said hi. My mother smiled, and said” we’ll take her”. That was a year and two months ago, and me and my pretty birdy have an unbreakable bond. We yell together, play together, and we even dance together. I can’t have my cereal in the morning without her, or she will make her point know by chanting feed me hon! I love her with all my heart, and I always will.
